Choose to Lose – The Results!

Our Choose to Lose-rs have finished the course, and we are so proud of their results!

All of our teams worked together on their main goal – to make lifetime changes that will help them to lose weight, increase fitness levels and improve their overall health.

The Blue Team finished with a strong win overall with an incredible combined loss of 58.4kgs  (the equivalent to 8.5 bowling balls!)

At the beginning of the Choose to Lose journey, each team member participates in a series of fitness tests: a 1km run; a 1.5km row; plus a number of bodyweight exercises to assess the start point of the journey which results are measured against throughout the process. The Green team – on average – have shaved off a grand total of 57 seconds from their 1km run and on average all dropped over a dress size, losing over 2 inches each on their waist!

We’ve also seen dramatic increases in overall health indicators, including a reduction in blood pressure and resting heart rate in some of our participants.

Caroline has been one of our most loyal Choose to Lose-rs, taking part in every course since it started. Caroline has lost an astounding 11kg and doesn’t plan on stopping there!

Caroline said, “The team trainers were excellent at pushing us in the sessions for us all to get the maximum benefit.  I enjoyed the course so much I signed up again for the second round and now the third!  Katie and George gave me the confidence to believe that I could do all the exercises and I now regularly sign up for Synergy sessions which was unthinkable beforehand.  I also now have the confidence to run in the 10k Park run thanks to the initial work at C2L.”

Do you want to become part of the team and join everyone on their weight loss and fitness journeys? Our Choose to Lose courses begin again on the 9th April, with each team’s sessions on different days and times, to suit your lifestyle.

Want more information on how to take part? We have a new Choose to Lose course starting next week, Monday 9th April.
