At Surrey Sports Park we run a series of courses designed for those wishing to get into the leisure industry. The courses are available for Surrey Sports Park guests as well as external organisations.

Pre-course swimming test and assessment on skills required to judge candidates ability for the course (if required). Course includes - Spinal Board Training, AED Qualifications, Renewal Qualification and Monthly Competency Training to maintain your qualification.
NPLQ Criteria
Candidates must be aged 16 years or over on the day of assessment.
The participant must be of a good physical standard and able to jump or dive into the water.
Must be able to swim at least 100m continuously on front and back.
Must be able to swim 50m within 60 seconds.
Must be able to tread water for 30 seconds in deep water.
