Team Sizes: 8 to 12, matches will be played with 6 players on the pitch per team at any one time. Teams must have a minimum of 2 players of each gender on the pitch during matches.

FORMAT

  • Teams will be divided into two leagues, with each team competing in a round-robin format within their group.

  • Following the initial league stage, teams will progress into a Top and Bottom Group Stage to determine final tournament standings.

  • League allocations and fixtures will be determined on the event evening through a random draw.

  • Matches will be played in a timed format, with each fixture lasting 8 minutes.

SCORING

  • Matches will be played to the full 8-minute duration, with the score at the final whistle determining the result.

  • Teams will be awarded 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss.

  • League positions will be determined by total points accumulated, followed by points difference, then total tries scored, and finally head-to-head results as tie-breakers.

  • Spectating is available, around the rugby pitch
  • Participants are advised to arrive 30 minutes before the event starts for registration and warm-up
  • Fixtures will be refereed by TS Referees, their decision is final
  • Teams should arrive up to 30 mins prior to the event start time, to warm up & confirm order of play
