Meet the Tennis Coaches
Jim Holloway
Coach
Jim has held a life-long passion for tennis, starting as a junior player in Lancashire and now continues to play both socially and competitively in and around Guildford.
He enjoyed a successful 30-year career in the Film & Television industry, working across the UK and abroad. A few years ago, he became actively involved at Pit Farm Tennis Club, serving as Juniors Captain on the committee, where he’s been striving to enhance the coaching and matchplay opportunities for young players. This role sparked his interest in becoming a qualified tennis coach.
Jim combines his communication, organisational, and creative skills with his love for tennis to deliver fun and engaging coaching sessions for players of all ages and abilities. Jim is hugely excited to have recently joined the coaching team at Surrey Sports Park. He is passionate about enthusing and encouraging players, helping them build confidence and develop their skills in a positive and welcoming environment.
Seeing consistent weekly improvements in each player’s game drives his motivation to give his best in every session.
